Message from the hotel manager
Mr Marc PICHOT, the manager of the Sofitel New York hotel, would like to welcome you.

I gave quite a lot of info in my two reviews from August 2010 and October 2014, so read those.
We had the same room both times, but the lake was obscured by trees although we could see the Studios in the distance and Panoramagique balloon when it was up. If you have paid for Lake View room you should have a clear view.
Hand & bath towels are provided, although they are not beach size. They charge for towels in the pool changing room, so take your own or from the room. I think they charge € 2.
If you have pull along cases it is just as easy to walk through the Village from Chessy station, turning left when you reach the lake, and going into the rear entrance of the New York into the lobby. Otherwise you can catch the shuttle bus from the stops by Chessy station. If you want to use Express Service on last morning you can pay € 11 to have your luggage taken to the Disney desk in Chessy station. ( near Eurostar checkin desk on top floor ).
Reception will ask what times you want breakfast each morning when you check in. Breakfast is 7am - 11am.
The HNY is not usually as busy as ther hotels, so breakfast times are not really a problem. We walked straight in at 8am when we overslept missing our earlier slot.
Standard rooms in HNY do not have kettles/ teamaking. I take my own small travel kettle sometimes, although reception will get you one if available. ( may ask for a deposit ). I also take mug, teaspoon and instant drinks sachets. You can get teabags, milk, sugar from breakfast.
Thanks for posting your dates on the other thread.
