Novus Continues to Increase Reach and Sales of NEC UNIVERGE SV8100 within the U.S. Channel; Launches Special NEC VAR Pre-Qualification Program to Expand its Network of NEC Resellers in Protected Territories Across U.S.

FAIRFIELD, CT, October 26, 2011—Novus, a boutique telecommunications and IP distributor serving value-added resellers (VARs) throughout North America, was named a Platinum Distributor by NEC Corporation of America for the second year in a row. The designation was achieved as a result of Novus’ continued success increasing year-over-year sales of NEC’s SMB VoIP solutions within the U.S. channel. 

To deepen its relationship with NEC and further increase U.S. channel sales, Novus also announced a new VAR recruitment program designed to expand the network of NEC qualified VARs in protected territories across the United States.

Novus NEC VAR Pre-Qualification Program
Novus is introducing a special NEC channel program offering prospective VARs the opportunity to become designated NEC resellers in defined and protected territories in the U.S. Novus is recruiting and pre-qualifying VARs to help determine their viability for NEC’s rigorous reseller selection process. This includes matching resellers with available territories, assessing reseller qualifications for selection, and helping qualified resellers apply for an NEC territory.
